Pride100 LGBTQ+ Scholarship 2025

Thank you for your interest in our Pride100 Scholarship for mental health counseling at Roots Psychotherapy in College Station, TX!

Pride100 is a local organization whose mission is “to strengthen and empower the Bryan/College Station community through collective giving to organizations, nonprofits, groups, initiatives and people, working to foster a safe, inclusive, equal and affirming Aggieland for LGBTQIA+ people.”

Through their generosity, Pride100 has provided funding to support one individual with 12 sessions of psychotherapy at Roots Psychotherapy this year.

Scholarship Details

This scholarship is designed to remove barriers for someone in the LGBTQIA+ community who is motivated to engage in therapy but faces financial challenges.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must demonstrate a financial barrier to treatment (income under $25,000/year for individuals paying out of pocket)
• Must be highly motivated to participate in therapy
• Must be able to attend sessions regularly and commit to the 12-session structure
• Sessions are offered at a reduced rate of $25/session
