About Create to Cope Support Group

Join our 5-week support group for 15-18 year old teen girls where we will use art therapy techniques to help process emotions. We will learn more about emotions and why they happen, connect with others in a safe space, process emotions that feel “too much” or that you aren’t “allowed” to express, and understand yourself better through self-expression.

  • No art skills required
  • Craft materials provided in the cost

Specifics:

Dates: 5 week group, every Tuesday night from 7-8 PM, October 14 - November 11

Location: Roots Psychotherapy, 4189 State Hwy 6 South, College Station, TX 77845

Cost: $125 total, which includes all art supplies

Who is this group for?

Teen girls ages 15–18 who want a supportive space to explore and express their emotions through art.

Do I need to be a skilled artist to join this group?

No! Come as you are, as art is used as a way to process, not criticize how it looks. You can expect to paint, color, and collage in this group.

Is this therapy or just a support group?

This is a therapeutic support group led by a trained clinician, using art therapy techniques to promote emotional growth and connection.
