I work with adults, couples, and families navigating identity, trauma, grief, and belonging. My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and multicultural—rooted in respect for the systems (cultural, familial, spiritual, and other) that have shaped you, while also making space to ask what’s been helpful or harmful. I specialize in supporting those who’ve felt like outsiders or have had to shrink parts of themselves to survive, and who are now ready to explore their story more fully. Therapy with me is a place where all parts of you are welcome.
Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to censor yourself or shrink any part of who you are. Here, you can show up as your full, authentic self—without judgment. We’ll explore your story with curiosity and compassion, untangling the parts that feel painful or confusing and giving voice to the things you’ve never felt safe enough to say out loud. I believe healing happens in relationship, and I’m here to walk alongside you as we make sense of how your past has shaped you and begin to rewrite your story in a way that honors your truest self. You are not too much. You are not broken. You don’t have to abandon yourself to belong.
My therapeutic style is multicultural, trauma-informed, and relational, drawing from RFPT (Relationally-focused Psychodynamic therapy), narrative therapy, IFS (Internal Family Systems) and other evidence-based approaches like EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Trauma-Informed CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).

I was born in Cuba and grew up in California. I wear many hats and have lots of interests! I enjoy nature, walking, biking, running, traveling and going on lots of adventures. I’m a foodie and a lover of culture. I also enjoy the arts in the form of music, painting, theater and other artistic expressions. I try to stay very active with loved ones, pets, love doing sports, building things, and trying to new things. I enjoy staying connected to myself, continually discovering new aspects of who I am—not being boxed in, but staying wild and true and a student of life. A quote I love is:
“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it.” - Brené Brown, The Gifts of Imperfection
