Services I provide:
Caroline believes that our families of origin shape the blueprint for how we understand and relate to the world. When this blueprint no longer aligns with our passions, relationships, or goals, it can lead to conflict, overwhelming emotions, and a sense of disconnection. Therapy is a space to explore these discrepancies, gain clarity, and create new patterns that empower you to live authentically and meaningfully.

Hi, I’m Caroline Dillard, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist at Roots Psychotherapy in College Station, TX.

I provide compassionate, systemic therapy for college students, adults, couples, and families. Whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, anxiety, or identity concerns, I’m here to offer a safe, inclusive space where healing and growth can thrive.

Your Therapy Experience

My therapeutic approach is rooted in systemic theory, which means I view individuals within the context of their relationships, families, and cultural backgrounds. As a facilitator, coach, and ally, I help clients:

  • Identify and understand the influence of their family blueprint.
  • Develop language to describe and process overwhelming thoughts and emotions.
  • Build healthier communication and coping strategies.
  • Embrace their authenticity and create meaningful change.

Whether you’re navigating couple and family dynamics, grief and loss, anxiety, or identity concerns, I’m committed to walking alongside you with empathy, curiosity, and respect.

About Me

I love my work, but when I’m out of the office, you’ll find me spending time with friends, birdwatching, traveling, trying new foods, or diving into a heated game of Uno or Skipbo. Counseling has been a transformative space for me—a place to feel known, understood, and gently challenged to grow. It’s an honor to now hold that same space for others. Two Truths & a Lie (you decide the lie!): My first pets were a duck and a turkey, I caught my first shark at 4 years old, and my first time horseback riding was in Australia. Life’s been quite the adventure! My favorite quote is:

Do the best you can until you know better. Then, when you know better, do better. - Maya Angelou
