Hi, I’m Dani Cook, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in College Station, TX dedicated to helping teens and adults navigate anxiety, depression, grief, and life’s many transitions. Whether you’re coping with loss, healing from emotional trauma, rebuilding self-esteem, or trying to make sense of change, I offer a compassionate and grounded space to explore your story. My approach draws on years of experience in healthcare, child welfare, and addiction recovery to help you develop practical tools for growth, resilience, and authentic living.

My approach to therapy is always person-centered and always free from judgment. I believe that you are the driver of your own treatment and that it is my job to help guide you through that process. Sessions will focus on what is currently on your mind as opposed to a specific script. Together, we will identify what treatment modalities work best for you as an individual in hopes of maximizing your experience in therapy. My goal for each client is for you to be able to take control of your life instead of letting mental health control you.
I currently accept individual clients aged 15 and up. I have experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, grief/loss, trauma, addiction, and various personality disorders. I believe that my diverse background in CPS, healthcare, and various inpatient/outpatient treatment arenas has equipped me to work with a wide range of clients. If you think we’d be a good fit, I’d love the opportunity to meet you and begin working on your goals together!

When I’m not in the office, you’ll probably catch me at the gym, various events around town, or enjoying downtime at home with my family! While not a College Station native, I have grown to love this community over the last 3+ years and love trying out new restaurants and coffee shops. I’m a lover of all things Disney, a good romance novel, reality TV, and cheering on my dawgs each Saturday in the fall! One of my favorite quotes is:
“We're almost there and nowhere near it. All that matters is that we're going.” -Lorelai Gilmore
